Orkhan , leader of the Ottoman Turks, dies in 1360. His son, Murad I, succeeds him and extends Ottoman power throughout what is now Turkey and the Balkan peninsula.
A second wave of the Black Death ravages Europe in 1361, though less severely than in 1348.

Chinese Ming armies force Korea to submit to their rule in 1369.
